In a special treat, after getting to stage “DuoTube” many times, I finally had the opportunity to present it in concert with flutist Robin Meiksins, my collaborator on the piece. Such a special thank you to Roosevelt University for making this possible!

“Lines Around the Corner” presented at the Napoleon Festival at EIU, Montana State University, and SEAMUS National Conference 2025
A collaboration that began with violinist Sicong Chen has grown with collaborations with a number of violinists and opportunities for performance. Dante Freund performed the work in Charleston, Illinois as part of Eastern Illinois University’s Napoleon Festival in February. Dr. Ben Fuhrman performed at Montana State University as part of a concert of electroacoustic works, and Sicong and I teamed up again at SEAMUS National Conference at Purdue University in Indiana. I’m very grateful for the ongoing interest in this compressed, tense piece.
“Can’t Take You Anywhere” presented at the Ball State Festival of New Music, Splice Institute Alumni Concert and the Australasian Computer Music Conference 2024

All Score Urbana receives 2024 Urbana Arts and Culture Grant
We received an Urbana Arts and Culture Grant for a new program called All Score Urbana: Music and Dance. We offered open to the public collaboration sessions in the fall at the co-sponsor Urbana-Champaign Independent Music Center. This led to a final performance at co-sponsor Rose Bowl Tavern of participant works by teaching artists Jacob Henss, Kerrith Livengood, Brant Roberts, and Peter Tijerina.
